Public Learning Portal guide
Sign up for the Public Learning Portal.
Go to the Public Learning Portal website. You don't need to sign up for a new account if you already have one.
You will be asked to supply a “Security keyword”.
- Enter “pmp” (all lowercase) for the PMP Utah law course.
- Enter “cmc” (all lowercase) for the RMP Proxy security training course.
Look at the pictures under the “visual help” heading to see how to create an account in the Public Learning Portal.
Access the training.
The training will be in the "My learning" column on your home page.
Click "View details", then click "Enroll" on the course/class details page. This will start the course.
Complete the training.
You'll receive a confirmation once you've completed your training.
To sign out, click the person icon in the upper righthand corner. Then scroll down and click, "Sign out".
What is the Public Learning Portal?
The Public Learning Portal is a platform that external users use to access required training from the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food (UDAF). External users will need to create a Public Learning Portal account.
What training is available on the Public Learning Portal?
UDAF has created training courses for pharmacy medical providers (PMPs) and recommending medical provider proxies (RMP proxies). Each course is relevant to their specific role.
PMPs and RMP proxies must complete this training as part of the continuing education requirements to register or renew their application in the electronic verification system (EVS).
Who should complete this training?
PMPs who currently work for or have an employment offer from a licensed Utah medical cannabis pharmacy.
RMP proxies that have approval from their clinic or RMP to act as an RMP proxy on their behalf.
