    How to renew your recommending medical provider (RMP) proxy registration in the electronic verification system (EVS)

    Your recommending medical provider (RMP) proxy registration expires every 2 years. You will get an email from the Utah Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) 60 days and 7 days before it expires. 

    You will renew your registration in the electronic verification system (EVS). This process is similar to applying for an RMP proxy registration. You will use your same UtahID and EVS account. 

    How to renew

  1. Complete the EVS health information privacy training.

    Complete the EVS health information privacy training before start your RMP proxy application.

  2. Log in to the EVS with your UtahID.

    Go to https://dts.utah.gov/idhelp/ if you need help with your UtahID account.

    Look at the pictures under the “visual help” heading to see how to log in to the EVS with your UtahID.

  3. Resubmit your medical cannabis RMP proxy application in the EVS.

    Look at the pictures under the “visual help” heading to see how to fill out and resubmit your RMP proxy application in the EVS. 
  4. Pay the RMP proxy application fee.

    You’ll get an email from [email protected] with instructions to pay your medical cannabis RMP proxy fee.

  5. Your RMP proxy registration will last for 2 years.

    You can renew your registration in the EVS after 2 years.
